As a Solutions Engineer, you work directly with enterprise customers to turn operational problems into reliable software systems built on the Pit platform.

You help customers move from idea to working system.

You collaborate closely with Platform Engineers to ensure novel customer systems are implemented in line with Pit best practices. You also get support from and provide feedback to AI Engineers on how to improve the developer tools and workflow automations that help you in your work.

Responsibilities

Your work includes:

• understanding customer workflows and constraints
• leading workshops and solution discussions
• designing system structures and data models
• integrating customer data and systems
• delivering production-ready applications using the Pit platform

The biggest challenge will be to understand what the customer wants and figure out how to integrate with legacy systems, which requires both empathy and technical intuition.

• Customers expand their use of the platform

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience spent building production systems in TypeScript/Node.js
• Proven ability to lead technical conversations with enterprise stakeholders, from workshops to architecture discussions
• Experience integrating with legacy systems, APIs, databases, and messy enterprise data landscapes
• Comfort navigating ambiguity. You can take a vague business problem and turn it into a concrete system design
• Strong empathy for non-technical users and the patience to understand their actual workflows before jumping to solutions
• Clear, direct communication style. You write well and explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
• Authorised to work in Sweden, willing to approve a background check

Preferred

• Experience in a customer-facing engineering role (solutions engineering, forward deployed engineering, technical consulting, or similar)
• Background working with enterprise customers in regulated or operationally complex industries
• Experience working with coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) as part of your development workflow

Not a fit if

• You prefer building in isolation. This role requires constant collaboration with customers, GTM, and platform teams
• Your technical experience is primarily theoretical or limited to greenfield projects. Enterprise delivery means dealing with brownfield reality every day
• You are intimidated by a room of executives. We need people who build instant credibility with established enterprises and stakeholders who may be skeptical about using AI
